Practical Information during a visit
at Lille Vildmosecentret

Here we have gathered some general information that might be important to know before a visit.

Facilities for the Disabled

Lille Vildmosecentret and the surrounding areas are accessible for people with disabilities and can be visited in a wheelchair.
It is also possible to visit the towers Toftesøtårnet and Toftetårnet as well as the boardwalks in the Portlandmose in a wheelchair.

Companions with a valid companion card have free admission to Lille Vildmosecentret’s exhibition and cinema.

There are two wagons on the Peat Train that can be used by wheelchair users.

Dogs and Other Pets

Dogs are allowed on a leash in the center’s outdoor areas. This means they are not allowed in the center’s exhibition, café, or on the train. When purchasing tickets, the dog must simply be led through the reception and out to the center’s outdoor areas.

Guide dogs are, of course, welcome everywhere.

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas of Lille Vildmosecentret.
In the rest of Lille Vildmose, smoking is prohibited due to fire hazard.

Brought Food

When you have purchased an admission ticket to Lille Vildmosecentret, you are allowed to use the Lunch Room, which is open to everyone and therefore cannot be reserved, and to enjoy your brought food at the provided tables/benches.

Please notice: The terrace around the center is reserved for guests of Café Soldug.

Parking

There is free parking at Lille Vildmosecentret’s parking lot.
Overnight stays in buses or campers are not allowed in the center’s parking lot.

The Shop

In the shop, you will find a large selection of exciting souvenirs to remind both young and old guests of a visit to Lille Vildmose. We have both non-fiction books, children’s books, local handicrafts, lifelike stuffed animals of all sizes, home decor, and utility art.
